  • Re: Parent's detail in ds-160 form

Hi , I am applying for visitor visa of USA. In the DS-160 form there are questions about parents.
"Is your father in the US?" and "Is your mother in the US?"

My mother and father don't live in the US, they have got visitor visa and at the moment(when i am applying for visa) they are visiting the US.
What should i write in the answer to those two questions : YES or NO ?

The questions are rather brief and confusing. "Is your father in the US?" and "Is your mother in the US?"

My parents are currently in the USA. However they don't live there. They are on a short visit.
I still don't understand whether the consulate wants to know whether they live in the USA or they just care about if they are currently on the US land or not.
