I'm an F1 visa holder and my husband is an H1B.
My parents appeared for a B1/B2 visa interview yesterday.
My mom's visa was approved but Dad was given a 221(g) form.
The questions the VO asked was
(i) What is the purpose of your trip?
Ans. To visit our daughter and son in law
(ii) What do you do?
Ans. I'm a consultant with Bharti Industries.
(iii) What does Bharti Industries do?
Ans. Manufactures chemicals and disinfectants
Then the V.O. says to my mom that you have got the visa and hands over the 221(g) white slip to my dad
Now the problem is that the form asks to submit documents like
(i) Invitation letter from the organization in the US who is sponsoring your trip.
(ii) Detailed research work carried out by you.
My dad is a B.Pharma and has never done any research. He just presides over the manufacturing of phenyl and soap in Bharti Industries. He wants to come here for leisure and not for any research related work.
How do we provide related documents?
