Running a business while in US on a B2 Visa?

I have a B2 Visa for some years now, I stayed one time around 8months (o.c. I left the US in that time) and was also for 2 weeks on vacation there.

When I entered the first time like 3 years ago, I remember i got grilled at the CBP. I was wondering if I am allowed to run my business from the US while staying there on a US visa, when this business has zero tie's to the US.

Your help or references to legal advise is appreciated

You can't really do that.

B2 visa is for tourism. Therefore, please tour the country.
