  • visitor visa for parents: please help

Hello. My parents are applying for the visitor visa. Me and my husband are on H1 here. They do not want us to sponsor them financially. But they are not planning any tour too. They are just going to come and visit us and stay for couple of months. What all documents should we prepare for my parents. Please suggest. Do I need the employment letter, bank statement and H1 approval letter. How about my husband's document? What all documents from my husband would be needed. Please help. Thank you in advance

Is the h1 approval notice enough for legal status or do I have to get the employment letter too? Thank you once again

To be granted a tourist or visitor visa, US immigration must be convinced that you are not planning to try to remain permanently in the US once you arrive here.

The US government will gladly issue Visitor (tourist) visas to foreigners who are well off, and can demonstrate they have strong ties to their residence country, like great jobs, or owning real estate. Basically to people that immigration is confident are not RISKS to try to remain in the USA illegally, who can convince the consular officer that they will only visit for a while, then return right back to where they came from.

Young, single, unemployed, low income individuals DO NOT have a good chance of having their tourist visas granted
