Info on DS-156 form

Just wanted to know if DS-156 form should be printed back to back or on two papers. If its not printed back to back , I heared that the consulate will not accept the application. And also my parents have their interview during Nov, will it be ok if I send the visa papers to them by sep 20th. Will 2 months document be considered a old one?
