Hi All,
1)I have a birth certificate which I just got issued but it doesn't carry my name.
So then I went ahead & took a birth certificate from the indian embassy (washington,DC) based on my passport records.
Now do I still need the affidavit even after having both of the above.
If the above is yes what is a good format for the affidavit. Whatever formats I have seen on the websites I have seen it requires info like the father & mother's birth date along with their marriage dates , now my mother doesn't hav the birth certificate & neither my parents marriage certificate is there so its kind of a circle for me. Kindly suggest.
The above question is for Visitor Visa (mumbai consulate) as well for my Green Card process as birth certh certificate is required in both the processes.
2) At mumbai consulate do I need the original marriage certificate or a copy of it when I am trying to get visitor visa for my in-laws.
