No need for a bank letter. You will just need an income proof ( IT return , salary slip( if employed) and last 6 mos bank statement).

These days, even that they rarely look at.

Thanks for the prompt response, I appreciate it.
I asked my SBH Bank to issue a bank statement and they're asking me to provide the format , I'd appreciate if you can provide any format.
Also can I show the Fixed Deposit proof ? or do I also need a separate letter for it from the bank ?

      Thanks

Like I said, you do not need any letter from the bank.
And these days they rarely look at any documents.
You can download the bank statement from the web and that will do.
Same with deposits/property for which they do not ask.
Just carry an internet copy for your own satisfaction.

Most imp. thing is your income ( decision maker ) and they MAY ask to look at the proof of income( salary slip/ tax return).

          Dear Peace,
Thanks for your suggestions, I appreciate it, Ok I'll just take normal bank statement plus the FD's certificate which I've, I guess that should do it.

            oh yes, that will suffice.

Due to high fraud levels in India, they do not rely too much on documents. And people can borrow and build up bank balances and FDs, so they
base their decision on income for working age people.
