My Sister in laws Visa was rejected by the US consulate in Australia, Please help with all your suggestion and opinions
In short her story is,
Earlier she had come to US on business visa through her company. After completion of the VISA period the company applied for an extension. Hence she continued to stay for another two months and left back to INDIA.
Just a month ago she went to the US consulate in Australia and they asked her to get the approval notice for her VISA extension. They think she was staying illegeally in US. She doesnt have any proof that her extension was approved. If you put her EAC number then the status on the INS website shows that INS had asked for some papers regarding her extension(she had no clue about this until know).
She is trying to get in touch with the company she worked for, but not sure if they will help.
If anybody in this group have similar experience or know a way out of this, kindly suggest.
