  • Need your suggestion for Applying B2 Visa

    Hello,

I have applied for my B1 Visa twice last year to attend a conference and it got rejected Under section 214(b). Now I would like to apply for B2 visa along with my mother to attend my younger brother graduation. As my father had a hip operation and he cannot travel he asked me and my mother to apply for the visa. So that I can accompany my mother. I am 25 Years 8 Months working with a private company with Salary of Rs.3,30,000/- per annum. I am married and now my wife is pregnant. what are the chances for me getting the visa and please let me know any steps to be taken. I will be applying visa along with my mother (together). What are the documents do I need to carry. My mother will be sponsoring me. We have a business and my mother is the proprietor. My brother has sent us invitation letters for both of us in one paper to come to his graduation. What questions would be asked and how do I need to answer them. Please let me know how to go further with your suggestions.

    Thanks,
    Pradeep.

why were you rejected for your B1? The same could bring on a denial for your B2. In fact B2 is more casual than B1 so chances of denial are higher for B2.
A very important reason could be your income which is low. Even if your mother is sponsoring, they consider individual income as an important factor
as your financial tie to India and also why your mother is sponsoring when you are working age.

In my opinion , chances are not great
*manily because of your income and
    *also two past denials
*and a very casual purpose of
your bro's graduation which in officer's eyes is nothing very important.

I dont know the reason for the rejection. They said that " We cannot issue a visa at this time ". And handed me a paper. So how do u want me to go for the visa process. Please advice me so that I can have the less rejection chances.

Like I said in my last post, chances are very slim because of your income + casual purpose of visit.

So , you should not apply this time.

Apply when you have a better job and better income and you can show self funding.( income 10L/yr)
