Different Surnames(last names) on passport and documents for VISA

My uncle has applied for B2 visa recently. He has filled the DS-160 form and paid the fees required for the VISA interview. My uncle's name as per passport is Raghuveer Singh Rajput while on the other documents which are required for interview like Bank pass book, his official document and other documents has "GAUR" as his last name. GAUR is a subcaste of Rajput caste. Will there be any issue in the interview because of this ? Can he submit an Affidavit stating that all the documents are genuine and both the surnames belongs to him ?
