Need help with Visitor Visa for mother

Hi

My mothers appointment date is in October. I as her daughter cannot sponsor her as currently I do not have a job but do have sufficient funds to take care of her. I came to the US in 2002.
My brother on the other hand came to the US in april this year and so has been in the US for 6 months. Will there be any probelms at the consulate if he sponsors her?
He has less funds but just enought to show in as his bank balance.
Somebody please advice!!

Do not sponsor , either of you, with such doubtful financial status.
The best way , and which will go in your mom's favour is self -financing
the trip( that is if she can show good income and funds) . You only
need to send an invitation letter and visa copies to her and she will show
her own bank statements to show evidence of funds.
