B2 VISA for mother,while H1B holder is in India

Hi,
I worked in United States for almost 14months and then came back to India, worked in India for almost a year.I will be traveling back to United States in Feb'2013 and has valid H1-B.I would like to file B2 visa for my mother, so that she can travel along with me.She is a widow.Can you please suggest me if i need Affidavit of Support,if i am filing for my mother's visa while i am in India?Also, what other documents i can present that will maximize her chances of getting the visa?

If she can show her own funds you won't need an I-134. If that is not the case, you will have to send an I-134 with bank statement etc.

But that is a secondary issue. Widows find it difficult getting a visit visa in the first place. And in your situation where she wants to
accompany you when you are not even there, it gives the impression that she is likely to stay back as long as you are there.
So, chances will decrease.

If she has other children in India, she can apply to visit you with one of them after you have spent some time there.
If you are the only child, it will become very difficult for her to get the visa.
