    Hi, we have to send paper work to our relatives to come here. Along with the i134 form wehave to divulge financial details which we do not want our relatives to know .. Can we send these documents in a sealed envelope saying " for consulate only " and mention all the supporting documents in the invitation letter.....

    Also the travel expenses and the tickets cost will be borne by our dear relatives. We will have nothing to spend.. My question is even if the travel expenses are borne by them do we need to still send supporting financial documents and I134.

    Also is it possible to send the documents to the consulate directly and mention the relatives names that they will be attending on such a date..

    We r confused... Do let me know....

    First of all, if they are paying for their own trip , you do not need to send any I-134 or financial papers.
    I-134 is to be sent only when the applicant declares inadequate personal funds/income for the trip
    and shows that the host is funding.

    Just send an invitation letter to your relative on your letterhead.

    On the application form for a visitor visa and in the interview the funding question is posed as;
    WHO IS PAYING FOR THE TRIP? If they write self and answer self in the interview there are no more questions
    about the host's finances.

    Also, for your info, no papers sent direct to the embassy/consulates are considered for a visitor visa.
