    My name is irfan I have applied for us b2 as a tourist visa at Hyderabad counselate at date 6-11-2013 on Wednesday I got rejection under the 214b.why I don't know can U please help me to getout from this switchvation. I am planing to apply next time can I?
    Me:- goodmorning mam
    VO:- goodmorning
    Vo:- passport
    Me:- gave
    Vo:- purpose of the trip
    Me:-to visit my child hood best friends
    Vo:- what does they do?
    Me:- they are ms final year semi ster
    Vo:- r u working
    Me:- yes
    Vo:- what is u r job
    Me:- me told
    Vo:- what's u r age
    Me:- 25 years.

    [B]Then she said at this time u r not eligiable and we are not going to approve u r visa and she given the 214b reason.even she cannot check on my doc also.i don't know can I apply next time. Where would apply in India.

    First of all your purpose is so casual. Going all the way to US to visit friends leaving your job, plus you are young and if you are not married,
    they suspect you have something else in mind and you will not return.

    To succeed for a tourism purpose, you have to have very good salary ( 1 L /m) , history of visits to other countries, go with some family member ( not alone)

      And am studied in Singapore and I have Malaysia visit visa also and my intend is trule visit my friends after that come back to here and join my job.

        Intention to return has to be proven to the consulate officer. The only way they seem to get convinced is if one has strong income or business ties to the home country, or one has family ( wife and kids).
