  • DS-160 question

    Hi,

I submitted the DS-160 for my father's B2 visa. I have the home address and mailing address different in DS-160 (mailing address is different as he is travelling and would like any visa-related correspondence to be directed to this address).
Will this be an issue during the interview?

    Thanks,
    -D

That shouldn't be a problem, as it is quite common in today's world. You will notice that many immigration-related forms ask for both "address" and "mailing address," and that's for good reason. It used to be that rural addresses would often be accompanied by a P O box, as the rural location might lack mail delivery. These days, however, many people work long distances from home, or are in military or school, thus providing even more justification for separate mailing address.
