Documents file preparation for US Consular Interview (B2 visa)

hello,

I am putting together documents file. I would like to know how many copies (if at all) of original documents are required? Do they keep my supporting documents or will I get them back?


This may be a silly question but its my first experience for US visit visa and will appreciate your response.

They do not keep any documents. In fact, these days they hardly look at any documents. But you must take the originals
of all important documents with you to the interview. No copies needed.
