what if i have no sponser

hi i applied for a visit visa.and the interview is coming up soon.im a guy who works in india in a govt company as engineer.i just have a online friend in usa who has told me he will let me stay in his home.do i have to prove any sponser thing for me to get visa if i have enough money to cover the trip.and
i understand the documents needed for the visa is
1.ds156
2.ds 157
3.ds158
and my leave letter from the company
and a bank statement
is that enough.
or do i need to put more documents like I-134

If you can prove that you have enough financial resources to sponsor the trip yourself, you don't need any sponsor and therefore don't need documents like I-134.
