friend travelling with my child

hi, i am on a h1 visa in the us, and my kid ( 3 years old ) is in india. my kid has his h4 stamped, and traveled into the US once before he went to India earlier. My friend has a B1/B2 visa and will be getting my son to the US.

however, i understand that there is some documentation required to allow my friend to guard my child and travel.
can some one help me know what forms and paperwork are necessary to have my friend get my son here? Also, should my friend be providing any additional documentation since he will be a tourist visitor?

Required documentation for accompanying an unrelated child by international carrier depends on the airline rules and the country of origin. Basic is a notarized permission letter from the parents which identifies the child, the accompanying friend, and gives contact information (phones and addresses) of the parents. Beyond that, you should check with the intended airline and India immigration staff.
