Applying B2 Visa for minor

Hi Guys,

My sister is going to apply for a B2 visa for going to US for my cousins wedding. She is 14 years old and her parents will not be accompanying her to the US for the wedding.

Could you please advice if she can apply for the visa alone as she is a minor? She will be travelling with her aunt who already has a B2 visa.

Also could you please advice what all documents would be strengthen her visa application?

No.She cannot apply alone. Both parents should attend the visa interview with their child if possible. Where one parent is unable to attend ,
the absent parent should provide a letter to their wife or husband that states they have no objection to the child’s application for a visa.

documents;
wedding card from US, invitation from US with host's visa / passport copy, applicant's proof of enrolment in school and LEAVE in India,
parent should carry proof of job/business and income( salary slip/ tax return) to show funding for the trip, copy of accompanying aunt's visa.
