  • Visa Application Questions - Help

    I am currently a college student at a university and I am planning to go to the US with my grandmother to visit my aunt and my cousins (aunt is an immigrant and has stayed there for 6 years already, she's my grandmother's daughter).

    I just want to ask what will I put in the application regarding the reason of visa denial? My family (father, mother, brother and I) applied for a visitor's visa 7 years ago and was denied. I do not remember the reason the officer gave us as well as the questions asked. As for my grandma, it will be her first time to apply.

    Will my grandma be answering most of the questions?

    Aunt will be sponsoring the trip. We will stay there for 2 weeks. What do you think are the chances? And any tips?

    Thanks

    About the reason for past visa denial, you can say," do not know". Mentioning the reason is not a big issue. They know it already.
    But you must mention that you were denied.

    About other tips;
    Please post more background;

    what is your aunt's visa status in US?
    And on what basis did she go there?

    Which country are you in? What do your parents do?
    what is their financial and income status?
    Is your granddad still there?
    How much more of college to go for you?
