  • Transit visa - British airways

My mother in law will be traveling from B'lore to Boston via London on British airways. I couldn't talk to anybody at the consulate because they direct every query to their web site. It appears that anybody holding valid passport to US and ticket to US doesn't need transit visa. I would appreciate feedback from anybody who has traveled recently.

    UK Transit Visa

If you are not moving from one airport to other - for eg, Gatswick to Heathrow, then you do not need a transit visa. But it is always better to confirm with your travel agent.

My mother in law will not be changing airport, so she won't need transit visa. Otherwise you do need it.
