  • visa rejected twice last year, wanna apply again ,,help plz

    hi
i am from india, i am planing to do my residency in U.S ,for that i have cleared USMLE STEP1 and step 2 with decent scores in 2012.I applied from Delhi last year, i was unemployed ,got rejected twice.i have 2 U.S b1/b2 visas stamped on my passport each 1 year multi entry ,visted U.S 3 times, never over stayed.
i am an indian citizen but did my medical graduation from europe ,got both the u.s visas in europe .both times i showed my cousion brother as my sponser,he is a us citizen a well renowed doctor there.
when i applied from india i again mentioned him as my sponser as i thought they might already know that my cousion is there and i have visited him thrice previoulsy.but i guess that was the blunder.
now it has been almost a year since my last rejected visa application,i am currently doin C.R.R.I TRAINING at a very reputed hopsital in chennai ,will complete the training by april, but the training is not paid.i am planing to apply again for b1/b2 ,i am not confused wther in the application i should mention that i have relatives there or not .should i keep my father as my sponser this time.
any help i will highly appreciate.

what is your purpose of visit? is it to take step2 cs ?

My adv. to you is apply after taking up a paid job and then show self-funding.

A young doctor showing father's or cousin's funding does not go well with the visa officers.

if you have any immediate relatives besides your cousin , you will have to mention them.
Under other relatives you just have to mention yes or no. say yes. it won't matter as long as you will be self funding.

Yes my purpose of visit is to take step 2 cs exam.
how many months should i work before i apply, and how much bank balance will be enough,do we need to produce bank statement of last 6 months or just the letter saying net balance is enough,,,,
      thanks again

no hard and fast rule on how much you should work before you apply but do it for a few months so you can show self funding not dependence on anyone else.
Also a continuing job, the officer may think you will return and is more likely to give you a visa. You can also do private practice instead of a job and show that.
Bank balance is not important , they usually do not care for that
as people build that up by borrowing.

What is important is your salary or your income. they always ask about that. SHould be able to show them a strong figure like 10-12L/ yr to better the odds.
They can ask for a proof of that ( salary slip, private practice proof with monthly income credits in your statement).
        good luck.
