Visitor visa holders can land and stay other than the sponsors location ?

Hi All,
I am working in USA under H1B VISA. My wife is pregnant and we would like to get her mother to support her delivery. However I have recently changed my employer and hence my H1B transfer in progress hence I believe I can not sponsor visiting VISA to my mother-in-law. And my wife's cousin (My brother in law) who has approved H1B VISA is willing to sponsor Visitors visa to my mother-in-law. I am staying in Chicago and my brother in law staying in Atlanta.

At this situation,
--Can my mother in law directly come to Chicago and return back to India with out visiting Atlanta? or is it mandatory to land in Atlanta and after that come to chicago?
If it is mandatory can she directly land in chicago and spend all time in Chicago and can return India through Atlanta?

They can land in Chicago or Atlanta or anywhere else they like. They can leave from anywhere they like.

It does not matter whether they visit Chicago or Atlanta. Even if they don't visit one of the places, it does not matter. They can visit any of the places in any order they like.
