  • Visitor Visa for a 18 year old.

I am 18 and want to visit USA to visit my aunt who stays there.
Thing is I have to renew my visa but its a little difficult as I tend to be a ''potential immigrant''...which I am not actually....just want to visit with my family for a vacation.
So what do I do in order to make sure that i get the visa. I have been to US 3 times before.
    How can my relatives help?.
Anything to do in DS-160 form?.
    Please help.

*I am doing Bachelor's in Computer Science.
*My dad is a self-professional and mom is a homemaker. The financial status is good. Financially there are no issues at all.
*They have been to US more than once and they do have a B1/B2 visa.
*My aunt has a green card.
*Yes, I have one other relative and they are US citizens i guess.

Also I forgot to mention that i also have to apply for the visa of my brother who is 8 years old. He has been to US once. But i think he wont be having any issues at all.

When you got your first visa, you must have been a child but now, you single and young adult , dynamics are different.
Yes,you would be considered a potential immigrant. That said, it is not that all young single adults are denied. It all depends on the officer's judgement and your luck.
Tips; show that your dad is funding the trip and mention a reasonable stay that matches your college vacation. take proof of your enrollment in college and vacation.
There is no need to ask for any help from your relative in US except a formal invitation and copy of your aunt's green card.
Take your bro for the interview with you even though he is eligible for a drop box .

Oh thank you very much!!! This was really helpful.
There's one more thing. Can i pay the visa fees for me and my brother using the same deposit slip?. We opted for Cash Payment and got only one slip. Also will the receipt number that we'll get after the payment be same or different? Is it OK if its same? I entered his details when they asked if I was taking anybody with me for the interview. I guess that's why we got the same deposition slip.

sorry, I do not know the technical stuff about receipt etc. Just call the stanley call center ( phone no. on ustraveldocs.com) , they are usually
            very helpful.
            Good luck.
