Next Steps to becoming a permanent resident?

Hello,

I was wondering now that I am here in the US with a B2 visitors visa what are my options for becoming a permanent resident of the united states? I hold advanced degrees but I have not been working within that field. I have looked at the immigration website and I don't appear to fit in any category, they all seem to require a job offer? Thank you for any assistance

A jump from B2 to green card is usually not possible;

except with marriage to a US citizen and probably some employment categories that are current.

there are some categories that do not require a job offer eg EB1 ( outstanding worker), EB5 ( investment of half to one million).

what is your nationality and background of work and education.

I am a romanian citizen,

I co own a flower shop and event plan for a living,
I have a degree in engineering and have worked in business management position before.
Are there companies that I should be on the lookout for to get sponsored?

if you do not have family sponsorship, or you cannot invest half to one million,

then you have to look for an employer who will file for your green card . To stay in US for that
you change from visitor(B) to student(F) or worker ( H) status. If you cannot do that , leave the country before your visitor stay expires. DO not overstay
in any circumstances.
