Visitor visa help needed please- urgent

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have taken a joint appointment for my parents for visitor/tourist visa(B2) in chennai US consulate and have few questions.

1.Will the interview be taken separately for my parents in consulate or will that be together ? They have the same appointment data and time. The name on appointment has my fathers name and number of applicants as 2.
2. Will they interviewed by one officer at the same time or will they get separate counters for the interview(interviewed by different officers) ?
3. what do they do with the the documents like I-134, invitation letter, letter to consulate, bank statements etc. Will they keep with them or will they return these after the interview?


The reason i am asking this question is that they have one set of original sponsor documents like I-134, account verification letter, invitation letter etc and one of my parents will be taking these with him/her during interview. If the interview is at separate counters (one counter for my father and a different one for my mother) , then do i need to send all sponsor documents for both of them separately ?

I kindly request your immediate reply on this.

they will have one interview at one window by one officer.
documents are usually not looked at. Decisions are usually made based on the DS160 and on your verbal
answers . even if a document is asked for at the window by the interviewing officer, it is returned before the interview is over.

We are based in US on a H1 visa valid through 2016.

We plan to invite our parents and brother who is studying his masters in India, we plan to invite them on B2 visa.

We want to know the documentation required and also if someone is aware of agents in Pune who can help with end to end process.

Otherwise anybody who is aware of the comprehensive documentation required.

it is useless to go through an agent. Most of the process has to be done online. Go to UStraveldocs.com and you can come to know of the process.
Basically it is 3 steps after you create an account on UStraveldocs.com ,
1.complete a DS160 for each applicant,
2. pay the fees and
3. take 2 appointments online ; one for biometrics and photo and the other for the interview.

documents; even though the officers hardly look at any documents, one must be ready just in case.
if your parents and bro are self funding , you only need to send an invite and copies of your visa and entry stamp.
otherwise you will also need to send an I-134 and financial documents.
parents need to take proof of their income if any and job if any.
Bro has to take proof of his enrolment in college and proof of leave.
