Visitor visa documents requirements

My brother in law in India is sponsoring US trip for my Mother-In-Law. For the visa interview, does my mother in law need to carry any documents from my side like my pay-stubs, income-tax returns or any other documents.
Please advice. Thanks a lot.

your wife should send a formal invitation for her mother and a copy of her visa and entry stamp.
If either of you are on H-1b, send a copy of H-1 petition.
You guys are not funding so no income documents are required but it does not hurt to send a salary slip for your wife /you
an occasional officer may ask for it.
