Cancel/Modify the appointment at TTS website

Friends,
We have modified the appointment (which was scheduled on Jan 2006 before 10/01/05) for earlier date in October at 'TTSvisas' and it accepted our request and generated the receipt today. We are not sure that whether the new appointment is valid (because we made the change today), pl. share ur opinions.

Does anybody in the same boat as we ? Explained our situation below, any replies appreciated.

well im not in the same boat.because i didnt try to modify the appointment.cus in the site it says modifications are cancelled.but you never know.cus in the new vfs system theres dates available in october itself.so it may work in tts also.i didnt try to modyfy.i think you should mail the chennai embassy and ask them will it work.

yeah yeah no probs.. my colleague went today on a modified appointment and got the visa !

well i guess now everybody gonna modyfy the appointments.i havent made the documents ready.so i guess i will wait.

it is good news!when modified?before or after the commencement of vfs visa service?I think the anguish expressed in the original question pertains to this point.
