Parents Marriage Certificate for Visitor Visa

Hi,

My Husband is sponsoring my parents to visit us on Visitors Visa.. My parents don't have their marriage certificate..
The sub - registrar is saying it will be illegal marriage bcz my mother was 17 age when she got married (1988). So he wants them to change their marriage year to 1989 (instead of 1988) but the problem is i was born to them in 1989. So am really confused should they really need a marriage certificate?? If notarized affidavit will be fine?? Or should they go with the Sub - registrar and change their year of marriage???

It is OK that children are born right after marriage or even before marriage.

It is not necessary that you must be conceived only after your parents marriage.

Therefore, it is OK.
