Hello All. My wife and I live in Chennai, India and are employed here. My wife is planning to go on a one month visit to the USA to meet her parents living there. I would appreciate any inputs on the necessary supporting documents required for her visa interview. I have gone through the immihelp website with the list of documents required, but not sure if certain documents would be applicable for her. I have indicated myself as the sponsor for her trip when filling out the form DS-160. Does she need an invitation letter from her parents? Do I have to fill out an Affidavit of support (Since she is not self sponsoring and I have indicated myself as the sponsor)? Any other inputs would be much appreciated. Thanks.

1. Yes, she should get an invitation letter from her parents.
2. No, you don't have to provide Affidavit of Support (I-134 form) as that is only for the people who are sponsoring in the US.Immihelp Support
