  • Is answering SELF in who is paying for the travel incorrect when parents are paying?

While answering my DS 160 I answered SELF for who was paying for my trip when actually my parents will be bearing all my expenses as I am still a student. Do I have to fill up another DS 160 And repay the visa fee or I can go ahead and schedule my IV and carry my parents account statement to the IV and explain them? Please help!
    Thanks in advance...

If it was your parents, you should have said parents. Self means out of ones own income.

I think you should be able to modify the DS-160 and take the latest printout without the need to pay the visa fees again. call the local Stanley helpdesk number to determine if this is feasible.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
