  • Dual nationalities for visa

Hi guys first post and apologise if this has been asked before...
Over the years I flew to us under the esta programme using my uk passport and now I am looking to apply for a B2 for an extended stay and tourism purposes, I recently got and irish passport through my parents as when I was younger it was difficult to get, am I subject to any trouble or interrogation should I decide to use my irish passport as the one I want to apply for b2 visa under??

    thanks guys

I don't think so. Any reason you want to switch passports suddenly? Did you overstay on your UK one? Because, your overstay is linked to YOU, and NOT your passport.

no not at all, longest I have ever stayed is 17 days, but I was there for 2 weeks at Christmas, and also last april for wrestlemania in nyc, and im going to mania again in april in NOLA, so im just kind of worried that because I have been twice in the year would I have trouble getting the 6month and that's why I have contemplated using my irish one, im not for over staying my welcome but have received a leave of absence from work so was looking to travel,, more nervous than anything about getting rejected
