My father overstayed his time in the U.S after leaving the country to the Dominican Republic twice and then to Canada. My father stayed twice a maximum of 6 months in this country after leaving for a few weeks to those destinations after entering Canada to the U.S he was told that he is in violation of the the I-94 B2 visa after negotiations i was able to extend my dads visa for 6 months upon entering the U.S i filed an extension for my father for 6 more months that extension was granted 10 days before his 6 months extension was approved my father is a German National Citizen [former Diplomat for the german government]. My dad left the U.S before his extension expired, he stayed 2.5 months in Germany. He came back to the U.S and was told at immigration that most likely he would have to leave immediately the country. After i [the son] talked to the immigration officer i was told that my dad can only stay for 60 days. After my dad came through customs and reviewing his passport they granted him 90 days my father is no burden to the U.S i don't understand why they wrote in his passport No EOS/COS in I94 b2 passport please let me know if i can file aanother extension for my dad having that in my passport. I have to let you know that i am a German citizen living U.S for the past 20+ years as a Permanent resident i was told the easiest way for my dad to stay here is for me to become a U.S citizen which im not opposed to can my dad stay in this country while i become a U.S citizen and file a Green Card for him his stay expires in approximately 70 days what can i do have him stay here while my citizenship application is in progress this is a complicated matter i would really appreciate the best answer.

Well, when it is written no EOS( extension of status) or COS( change of status), it means that.
The reason they did that was because he had been misusing his visitor visa; staying very long in US, going for repeated extensions and coming here too frequently.
Please answer;
*When do you expect to actually become a US citizen? Have you applied for it yet?
*Does your dad have a B1/B2 visa? When does it expire?
( I mean the visa. I know the stay expires in 70 days).Last edited by peace999; 02-14-2014, 06:36 PM.
