  • Invite my nieces to visit me?

    Hello,

I became citizen in 2013. Now, I would like to sponsor my nieces to visit me on vacations. They are twins and 20 years old. I would like to know if this is possible and what is the process do I need to follow. Also I would like to know if you know the processing times and fees (they live in Mexico).

they have to apply for a B1/B2 visa . the fees is $160 each and processing time is a few days.

Please note that for a visitor visa, they do not look at sponsorship but how likely they are to return home.
Especially very young people, they suspect they will not return.

Their parents' income and financial status will be important. If they earn well, they should show funding rather than you sponsoring.
( you only send an invitation in that case)
Other favorable factors; Enrolled in full time college and a
    history of travel abroad.

      Thanks for answer very soon...
Well, Im not sure if sponsor is the correct word because I had read about invitation letters and that is I want to do..... They are at college (2nd and 4th semesters), is that a good factor to give the visa?

      Thanks :-)

sponsorship means sending them funding papers (I-134 etc) along with the invitation.
Yes, college enrolment is a favorable thing but more important is their family's financial status
( their parents' work and income). They should have good income to show they will be funding.
If they cannot show funding , you will have to do that but that will be a negative factor for the visa.
