  • visitor visa to US

    Hi

I applied for US and UK tourist visa in 2008 and both were rejected because i was a student back then.

This summer i am planning to go to US to visit my brother who is a US citizen in june for 3 weeks with my wife.

Both me and my wife are working
I am in an MNC for almost 4 years and she is also working for thepast 1 year
My current annual salary is around 4lac pa and her is 2lac pa

On my passport there are US and UK rejection stamps and a Singapore visa and on her passport there is singapore visa.
What are our chances of getting a US tourist visa??
Also please advice on the recommended documents.

If you have very good income , then they are sure you will return. Unfortunately, both your incomes are on the lower side. And with a US citizen brother,
things become negative. Because they think you have someone to support you and you will not return.

You will have to ask for his sponsorship ,as you cannot show self funding with that income. Get an invitation , an I-134 and his financial docs. Also
his passport copy. take proofs of your income ( salary slips) and leave letters from your employer.

Chances may be 50-50 . Ideally you should wait till you guys have better paying jobs.

Yes he will send me affidavit of support and all the required documents from his side.

Me and my wife will get letters from our companies.

I still think you should wait till you have better jobs and can show self funding.

US citizen brother's sponsorhsip is a negative thing not positive.

you should create your own thread , not post in someone else's thread.

Anyway, what about your dad ? who is funding your bro's studies? What is your mother's income roughly /yr?

group means a large no. of people like a music troupe or a film crew. Just two of you applying is not a group.
You can just create one account and add your spouse in that account. Go to USTRAVELDOCS.com and all instructions are
                  easy to follow.

you cannot do anything now. No offense, but you should post before applying. Now they will decide on the basis of the info you have given on the form.
                      Mainly your income.

Take proof of your income and your mother 's income plus bro's graduation proof.

                      Hope all comes out well.

                        visitor visa to US

Visa approved today. Not even a single document asked.
                        Question asked
                        1.)purpose of visit?
                        2.)where is your brother working?
3.)how long will you stay in US?
4.)what do you do? For how many years? How much do you earn? (Same questions to my wife)
5.)once again asked where is your brother working?
6.)have you ever travelled out of india before?

And then he replied in hindi visa approved(visa ho gaya)
