Need B2 visa for spouse, I am travelling on B1.

Hi friends,
I will be travelling on B1 for two weeks. I would like my spouse to accompany me. She is also working for an MNC.

1. In the interview, can she mention that she wants to accompany me and visit some places nearby, since I am on business travel?
2. Can she say that I am sponsoring for her and that my company sponsors for my trip?

Have anybody travelled like this so far? If so, please share your experiences.

spouses applying in your situation is quite common and they mostly succeed.

answer to both the questions is yes. She must take a copy of your visa and proof of funding
to the interview.
