Hi,
I am a citizen of India, residing in the USA. I am planning to visit Sweden by traveling via Copenhagen. I was issued a Schengen visa by Germany for a recent visit to Germany. That visa will be valid for the timeframe for the Sweden visit. But I sent my Indian passport for renewal and expect the new passport to arrive soon. So the valid Schengen visa will be on the old passport.
1. Is it OK to travel with both old & new passports ? If not, what is the alternative?
2. If yes to above, does this policy vary based on the port of entry i.e. if I choose to go via Germany (then German immigration), versus via London (which means Denmark immigration)
3. Within the Schengen, if I go Germany -> Copenhagen and then take a train into Sweden, do they ever repeat the immigration checks?
Thanks in advance
