  • US Visa for Non working Single individual

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to go to US somewhere in June-July on tourist/visitor visa.I would like to know what chances I have of getting visa for US as I am single and in my forties.I do have sound financial background as I was working in a good company and currently
    doing part time /freelancing work.
Can anyone guide me on this.
    Thanks in advance

If you can convince the visa officer that you will come back to your home country, you have good chances. The strong reasons they look for when deciding if an individual would come back are - family ties, strong job ties, strong financial ties.
Single - Huge Negative means you dont have family ties to your home country.
Freelancing/part time - Another negative as they look for permanent job with good income.

When you say you have sound financial background, how would you prove it? Have you been to other tourist destinations outside your home country?

This is my opinion not legal advice.
