Apply B2 with stamped H1

Hi I was working in USA with H1 Visa and it valid for next 1 year. I am on vacation for 1 year and out of USA . Can I apply B2 tourist visa as I have to visit USA for a week? Also If I apply B2 , will that negate my H1 Stamping?

Yes, you can visit USA on B2 as long as the activities you are going to do in US on B2 visa are consistent with B2 visa purpose.

It will not affect your H1 stamping.
