Wrong Plcae of Bith in Receipt

Hi All,

We netered wrong place of birth when taking online apointment. We took the appointment using ttservices web site. It's written on the receipt that any typos on the receipt can be brought to attention when arrived at consulate. Will this cause a problem.

I changed the address on my parents visa appt.

Here is the email I got from TTS

If the applicant residing in Tamilnadu or Kerala,should fax the
applicant passport copy (1st page) to the number 044-28603167
along with a letter mentioning Passport number,date of
appointment,web receipt number,e-mail id given at the time
of fixing the appointment and contact number with details
of correction in data required.The letter should be duly
signed by the applicant.


Please mark the subject as Change request in appointment fixed.
After sending the fax with the details, kindly contact us to confirm regarding the same.

Applicants residing other than Tamil Nadu and Kerala may
fax your passport copy (1st & last page) to the number
080-51512884 and send them an e-mail with details of
correction in data required.

Please Note:
The correction in data will not be done for the Applicant's Name,
Passport number, Visa type and Language chosen.
The modification in your web appointment can only be done
up to two days prior to the date of interview.
Exception - Appointments for Mondays will be modified or canceled only upto 2pm on Fridays

Did u get the Appt via TTS? I got the appt via TTS & I need to make a small change in the Shipping address. It says on the receipt that they can modify it during the time of their interview. Has anybody made corrections to the typos at the time of their interview? Please let me know. Thanks!

Yes i got it through TTS. Although it says you can nring it to notice at the time of appointment. I want to make sure that I am not overlooking anything.

Hi Priya,

I got my parents appointment through TTS only and I also did the change in Shipping address. I got that email from TTS only and my father sent the fax and confirmed the same by calling the phone number provided. I also checked it online and the information changed. They will even send the confirmation to your email box.
