  • Can 14 old from the family answer visa officer's questions?

    Hi,
My brother, his wife and their 2 kids are planning to appear in B2 visa interview. I noticed that my 14 year old nephew can answer visa officer's question better than my brother or his wife. My nephew has good command over English and I think language will be less of a barrier compared to if my brother speaks in the native language. Will visa officer let a 14 year old speak in the interview for the entire family?
    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks.

NO. Language is a secondary issue here.
They always want the person who they are interviewing , to answer the questions, not someone else.
And you should not expect them to ask major questions of a child.

THey should opt for their native language ; they will send you to an officer who can speak both English as well
as the native languge. So language won't be a problem.
