Hi,
I am new to the forum. I need some advise, please.
I am on H1B Visa and have been living in US for 5 years. H1B got approved last year in November 2013. I scheduled Interview for my mother & sister (married) in Hyderabad, India consulate.
Interview happened for 3 mins and questions CO asked was how many years I have been in US, my company name, my mothers occupation and sisters occupation.
Last question CO asked was did I apply for my Green card. I did not apply for my GC and my mother replied 'NO, my son did not apply'. He asked twice the same question and then refused visa. He said his system shows that I applied for GC but the fact is I never did.
I checked with my employer and he confirmed that he has not even initiated my GC process. I am sure its a mistake from CO regarding my GC status.
I have asked my Employer to issue me letter confirming that my GC application has never been applied.
Is there any suggestion? I want to reapply for B2 again for my mother and sister and send them with new DS160 forms, I134 forms and Employer letter.
Is it ok to reapply soon? or should I look for any more documents etc? is this common question for refusal of B2 Visa?
I am desperate. Please let me know.
