Parents got visitor's visa (were rejected under 214 (B) in 2012)

Hello all,

I am very very pleased to inform you all that my parents received 10 years multiple entry visa this time ! They were rejected visa under 214 (B) last time. The visa officer asked following questions:

1) Why do you want to go to USA?
2) What does your daughter and son-in-law do?
3) What is your daughter's and son-in-law's visa status?
4) Where does your son-in-law work?
5) What is his annual income?
6) What is your annual income?
7) How many children you have?

...And then came the most anticipated words " Congratulations ! Your visa is granted. "


What we did different this time:

1) First of all, there was 2 year gap between last application and this application
2) Parents showed self sponsorship
3) Annual income little more than 10 lacs for my parents
4) practiced many different interview questions. It is important that parents revise the answers, stick to the point and practice speaking the intended answers.

By God's grace, we got the visa ! Wishing you all the best !
