Marital status of widowed mother

Hi,

I am in the process of applying for visitor's visa for my mother. My father expired after my mother received passport.

What should I mention on marital status field in I-134 and DS-160 forms for my mother? Should it be 'married' or 'widowed'? Could you let me know.

If her husband passed away, her status is now "widow."
