Can a B2 visa be sponsored by a non-US resident?

Hey,

I'm a resident of India and would like to sponsor my son's visit to the US. Is the procedure same as the one mentioned at https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visitor...sor-documents/ ?
Will I need to fill the same form I-134?

Kindly advise.

1. Yes, anyone can sponsor anyone's trip.
2. I-134 is not required if the person does not live in the US.
