H1b to B2 transfer

Need urgent help here.

My last working date with my current employer while on H1b in US is 2 weeks from now. Need your suggestions for few queries

1) Can I continue in USA post my last working day.
2)Can I apply for B2 while in USA. How long does it take to get B2 visa.
3) How long can I stay if I did not have the b2 visa in hand post my lwd.

1. Not unless you applied a Change of Status to another immigrant status.
2. Yes. it can take 2-6 Months. If denied all your stay past last working day is considered out of status.
3. Zero days.
