Hello,
so I was planning to apply for a B2 visa just to make sure that whenever I see a low-cost fare to the US I am free to book it without hesitation.
But during the application process I saw the B1&B2 option.
Assuming I get a visa for a 10-year period, I would naturally prefer the combined option just in case. I wouldn't like to pay for the B1 again.
So, what are the chances of getting B1&B2 if I just tell the consul that I would like to visit the USA as a tourist next year, but also I may need a business visa in, let's say, 5-year time period, but nothing specific (I am still a student).
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks.
