We live in Singapore. She is from Myanmar. We would like to visit family in the USA and Canada.

I remember your earlier post. I told you a way out 319(b) fast naturalization for her. It will be really easy for her as you are working for a US
company abroad. And that is the best way you can visit US as well as NOT live in US. But you do not want to do that either.

We had out interview, and the consular asked for two additional documents. She said once we submit them we are only a week or two from having our K1 in hand.

Thank you for siting 319(b)! I somehow think our K1 would not be approved had I not mentioned it, and obtained a letter from my employer stating that I am working for a 319(b).

Anyway, yes the 319(b) is a good idea. When the consular asked about why we do not plan to stay in the USA, I sited 319(b). She asked how long I have on my contract with my employer, and stuff like that. Once we answered she said she understood, but we had "better hustle on getting the AOS and green in during your visit".

Amway we cannot afford to take more than two weeks off. I am not so sure we can make the process happen in that short a time span. We can submit a "request for advanced parole", and an AOS together. We would have to fly back for the interview, etc. Maybe I am just confused.
