  • Visitors visa chennai consulate twice rejected

    Hi,

My moms visa was rejected twice in chennai consulate.

The first time i applied sometimes in 2003 ocotober , she was refused under 214b.

Next time i applied in oct 2005, She was again refused under 214b, stating there is no siginificant change in her status.

We showed , bank statements, indian bank account deposits, and 2 house documents on her name , and also a bunch of photo graphs of sisters and family freinds with her stating strong indian ties back.
More over shes working for a public limited company , also got a document from the company stating her leave is only for 4 four months after which she has to join back the work.
In the mean time she also made some other overseas travel in asia for touring.

My question is that what else the consulate needs , inorder to prove strong family relationship back in India, Is there any thing in specific they are looking in for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Luck also plays most important role in getting visitor visa.

Most of the parents are never been to interviews and don't feel comfortable with pressure.

I beleive the only way is to keep on trying.

Can you post what are the questions asked for your mom and do they asked for any documents from your mom?

I seen this forum so many parents with all of their kids live in USA getting visa.

Please go through below link: This person experience may useful.

      Hi Thanks for your Help.

These were the questions asked during the first time.

      Who is sponsoring you ?
      > Son
How many kids you have ?
      > Three, two daughters and one son
      Is ur Daughters married ?
      > Yes

      Visa rejected,

      Second time .

It seems they looked into all the documents she provided, and said nothing has changed on ur status , visa rejected.

What does the consulate need to show more family tie up.

      Thanks,Balajee
