Reentry to US

My friend traveled to US for a on her B2 VISA and was given 6 months, which she stayed for 4 (Dec 2013 to March 2014). Her actual VISA expires in Sept 2014. She is considering trying to reenter the US as early as May 2014. She is a single female from China with a house and a child back home

-What are her chances of being readmitted at the POE?
- How long should she stay out of the country before attempting entry?
- Are any POE's have better chances than others? Last time she entered Houston...considering trying other location this time. (Hawaii?)

re-entering 1 month after staying 4 months , she will have problems. if she has a genuine reason like an emergency , it is fine otherwise it is not advised.
if she comes back in september just before her visa expires, it will be an interval of 5 months which is fine.

Port of entry does not matter.

But also remember that if she plans to apply for another visa after expiry of this one, they will look at how she used her previous visa.
